Lol)

Fitness and helping others became my passion, my mission in life! I became a professional Fitness Coach simply because I wanted my friends and family to experience the same life changing moment I received AND do it much faster than I ever did.

I will share my personal fitness background and story (WARNING—it’s long! Lol)

I first started my fitness journey from a New Year Resolution in 2000 and actually stuck with it. (no joke). I had always been overweight since I was a child and was dealing with depression too. I wanted to be happier with myself and knew I needed to do something. I wish I could say I knew what I was doing the whole time, but I didn’t. My journey was a learning process, with many ups and downs, but I was determined to change my life for the better.

I tried diets without much success and even did a SlimFast diet once. OMG, that was torture!!!  I was so hungry all no-fad-dietsthe time and I was utterly miserable and depressed. Have you done something like that before? Then you know what I’m talking about and know what must have came next. Once I lost the weight I gorged myself back to my previous weight and then some, having been deprived of ‘real’ foods for too long.

I tried the gym routine for a few years and did okay for not knowing what I was doing. I would search online and research the best I could about how to maximize strength routines, but I still didn’t devote time to proper nutrition. Eventually, I hit a nasty weight loss plateau that lasted for nearly 2 years despite all my hardwork at the gym.  I was in denial and wanted so badly to make better changes that I kept spending my time, energy, and money only to keep spinning my wheels.

Finally I gave up. I was exhausted and 10 months passed and everything went downhill. Junk foods, low energy, low self-esteem—I was a mess.

Tony-Horton-P90XIn 2010, someone told me about a P90X infomercial on TV and once I watched it, I was hooked. Tony Horton’s “Muscle Confusion” workout and comprehensive nutrition plan had me convinced I could finally get the results I wanted.

I committed to making a change and vowed to press play and follow the nutrition plan every day.

“Simple: just follow the system, get results.”

I joined an online workout accountability group with others with similar goals and we motivated each other each and every day.

My 90 day P90X results were amazing! I went from couch potato to having a nice six pack which was incredible as I had NEVER seen abs on me before. I continued on with other Beachbody workouts and less than a year later, I was at 6% body fat, chiseled and ripped, the ‘After’ photo you see on my Facebook Cover image.

I submitted my P90X results and was honored to be included in one of get weight loss resultsthe P90X Infomercials on TV. At this point, I was hooked. Not just on the programs, but with the goal to help others also achieve success and happiness. I decided to become a Beachbody Coach to help others.

I was in the very first P90X Certified Professional class with guest Tony Horton and later became an Insanity Certified Instructor. I’m also a PiYo and CIZE Certified Instructor as well. I became an ACE Group Fitness Instructor and absolutely love instructing classes because of the community and people, much like the fun workout accountability groups I host on Facebook.

In 2013 and 2014, I was on the P90X and Insanity Talent team and can be seen in various video clips and print material. I’m also seen in various video clips from Beachbody, some of which are seen after the workout finishes playing.

Fitness and helping others became my passion, my mission in life!

I became a Coach simply because I wanted my friends and family to experience the same life changing moment I received.

Most people start workouts simply to look good but it’s so much more than that– especially when you combine exercise with Shakeology—our tasty meal replacement shake, filled with countless healthy ingredients and superfoods.

Finishing a program with satisfying results gives one many positive changes such as regained and/or strengthened confidence, higher self-esteem, higher energy levels, less stress, elevated moods, etc.

In other words, you are simply MUCH happy about how you feel as well as how you look. THAT is what I want for everyone I work with. My goal is to make people happy, both inside and out.

Do you have goals you want to achieve? Let’s do it together! Share them with me to get started!
